My name is Lauren Sauerland. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Management of Information Systems and Digital Innovation from the London School of Economics and Political Science. I’m passionate about anything and everything Technology, Data and People related.
I spend most of my time between London and Frankfurt, but during my downtime, you’ll likely find me exploring new places or making countless Spotify playlists. Or taking pictures of my dog.
During my studies, I developed a keen interest in the intersection between Data Governance, Financial Markets and the implementation of AI. In understanding these, I believe I’m well positioned to engage in emerging domains of big data analytics and innovation.
Upon graduating, I hope to apply my knowledge and experience within the entrepreneurial and VC sphere.
Marketing
The relevance of marketing is emphasised by continuous technological advances and globalisation. For the London FinTech Conference, I was able to develop a marketing plan that generated a reach of over 50,000 people.
Social Media
I have been in charge of various social media accounts, on multiple platforms. My job normally focused on amassing a following and helping establish a consistent media presence.
Journalism
I have regularly been involved in student media. At school, I was a staff writer and column editor. I have also been part of UCL Pi Media, my university’s publication, as a writing contributor.
